After years of abandonment, we embarked on the project of transforming this terraced house in the very heart of l’Ametlla del Vallès. A building dating from 1900, it still preserved its original structure and many silent memories: the activity of a small shop on the ground floor, daily routines in the upper apartments, and a discreet façade that had witnessed generations go by.

The property was in a fragile state of preservation, with no recent interventions and inadequate living conditions. However, its location —right in the historic core of the town— and its human scale made it a site of great potential.
For that reason, together with a group of investors, we decided to undertake a comprehensive rehabilitation with a clear goal: to recover the architectural value of the building, update its residential use, and ensure its viability from the very beginning.
Desde el inicio se trabajó con una estrategia mixta: por un lado, desarrollando un proyecto arquitectónico realista, eficiente y respetuoso con el entorno; y por otro, generando interés en potenciales compradores o arrendatarios desde fases muy tempranas.
Se difundió el proyecto, se visualizaron las posibilidades futuras del edificio y se creó una expectativa que permitió, incluso antes del inicio de obra, asegurar su financiación parcial a través de reservas previas.
At the same time, we carried out a comprehensive renovation that went beyond interior redistribution, reinterpreting the building through contemporary principles: improving energy efficiency, enhancing accessibility, maximizing natural light, and adapting the spaces to modern lifestyles, without losing the original character of the property or its urban integration.
