Escales de l'Àngelus
Escales de l’Àngelus is the transformation of an apartment that had been empty for 25 years into a new, dignified home for a family. With only 70 m² and a very limited budget, the project proves that it is possible to rehabilitate with restraint and clarity, updating installations, improving thermal comfort, and adding another habitable space to the rental housing stock.
Comprehensive renovation of a flat for traditional rental

Located in Figaró-Montmany, near Barcelona, this project is an example of how architecture can act responsibly and efficiently, even under tight economic constraints. We renovated a 1970s apartment that had been vacant for over two decades, transforming it into an efficient, functional dwelling ready for traditional rental. With a total area of 70 m², the intervention focused on the complete modernization of installations, the improvement of energy efficiency through modern HVAC and domestic hot water systems, and the renewal of basic yet durable finishes. Through precise technical decisions and a commitment to dignified access to housing, we have added a new home to the residential fabric of the Vallès Oriental.
